About the job :

We are looking for a talented and skilled Asterisk Developer with expertise in designing, deploying, and configuring Asterisk-based telephony systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing/new infrastructure.

As an Asterisk Developer, will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom PHP unified communication platform and scripts to enhance Asterisk functionality, along with writing Python scripts for automation and system integration tasks

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Asterisk-based telecommunication solutions, tailoring them to meet our client's specific requirements and objectives using open-source tools like Issabel or FreePBX.

- Customize and enhance Asterisk functionalities through dial plan development and custom application scripting.

- Integrate Asterisk with MySQL databases, and other third-party applications, for efficient data management and system interoperability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to VoIP and PBX systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the overall system architecture.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, setup procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

- Utilize PHP or Python to build dynamic web applications and automate processes, enhancing system functionality.

- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as an Asterisk Developer for 3+ years, with a successful track record in telecommunication solutions.

- Proficiency in Asterisk configuration, dial plan development, and custom application scripting.

- Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, etc.) and practical experience with PBX systems.

- Expertise in MSSQL and MySQL database management, enabling seamless integration with Asterisk and other systems.

- Proficiency in PHP programming for web application development and automation.

- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols relevant to VoIP and IP telephony.

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet project deadlines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
