Yash Technologies - Senior DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes (4-5 yrs)

Role Description :

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our DevOps initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and configuring APIs, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the stability and security of our infrastructure.

Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your ability to collaborate effectively will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and configure new APIs using Apigee or other API management platforms.

- Review and validate specification files (Swagger files) to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Manage policies, credentials, and other administrative tasks for existing APIs.

- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.

- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.

- Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Automate deployment processes and configuration management.

- Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems, and ensure permanent closure of incidents.

- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.

- Implement proactive measures to prevent incidents.

- Engage with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure minimal refactoring or changes.

- Collaborate and communicate asynchronously with team members and stakeholders.

- Participate in 24x7 support coverage as needed.

- Continuously improve infrastructure and deployment processes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps technologies and best practices.

- Identify and implement opportunities for performance optimization and cost reduction.

- Implement and maintain security best practices.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Experience with API management platforms (Apigee or similar).

- Strong understanding of API specifications (Swagger files).

- Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e., Python, Bash).

- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong understanding of networking and security concepts
