Job Description
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tableware molding machines and related instrumentation systems, ensuring smooth operations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation issues with molding equipment to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate and adjust machinery settings to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and adherence to product specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of molding equipment, identifying and addressing potential problems proactively.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration records, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address equipment-related issues impacting product quality or production efficiency.
- Participate in the installation, setup, and testing of new molding equipment or instrumentation.
- Follow and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for equipment optimization, process enhancement, and waste reduction.
- Keep updated on industry standards, new technology, and best practices related to molding equipment and instrumentation.
RequirementsQualifications:
- Diploma or technical certification in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-8 years of experience as a technician in the pulp or packaging industry, with expertise in molding machinery and instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles related to tableware molding machines.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair molding machinery and associated instrumentation efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in the pulp or packaging industry.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic and calibration tools, along with basic computer skills for maintenance record-keeping.
