Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Robotics Engineer to join our startup dedicated to designing and manufacturing robotic machines for automated culinary kiosk. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge robotics technology that will revolutionize food preparation processes.
Responsibilities Robotic System Design and Development - Design, develop, and optimize robotic machines for automated food preparation tasks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust robotic solutions
- Develop and implement software for motion control, path planning, and sensor integration in robotic systems
- Program and configure robots to perform complex tasks autonomously and efficiently
- Design mechanical structures and components for robotic machines, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Integrate electrical systems, actuators, sensors, and vision systems into robotic platforms.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of robotic systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and safety.
- Analyze test data, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Present findings and project updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical concepts.
- Stay abreast of advancements in robotics technology and automation techniques relevant to food production.
- Drive innovation by proposing and exploring new ideas for enhancing robotic capabilities and applications in food preparation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Masters/Bachelors degree in Robotics (M.Tech/M.E./B.Tech/B.E) or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics design and development, with a focus on industrial or automation applications.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering robotic systems from concept through deployment.
- Proficiency in robotics programming languages such as ROS, Python, or C++.
- Experience with CAD software for mechanical design and modeling.
- Strong understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and control theory.
- Familiarity with sensors, actuators, PLCs, and vision systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Previous experience in designing robotic machines or systems for automated manufacturing or similar applications.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety considerations in robotic design and deployment.
- This position is based in [Kolkata], no travelling require.
