Work Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated Workshop Officer to join our Machine Workshop Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the machine work shop, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and utilized to meet production goals.

This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Position summary:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Machine Shop

Qualification: Diploma/ B.E./ B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Skills Required:

- Proficiency in Programming VMC an CNC Machines.

- Operating experience on VMC and CNC Machines

- Ability to Lead a team of VMC/CNC Operators.

- Strong attention to detail and precision

- Expert in Workshop management and Manufacturing cycle.

- Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, processes, and challenges.

Responsibilities:

Programming, and operation of VMC/CNC machines.

Set up VMC/CNC machines (including tooling and programming) to produce parts as per engineering drawings and job orders.

Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.

Understand the specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, etc.

Ensure machinery is operating efficiently and producing parts according to specifications.

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.

Aim to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.

Monitor machine operations to detect any problems or malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth production.

Work closely with other engineers, machinists, and production staff to ensure seamless operation.

Prepare product reports and documentation
