Executive Budgeting Financial Analyst

Job Summary

The Executive Budgeting Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the FPA department by reviewing financial data, preparing comprehensive reports on financial performance, and maintaining dynamic financial models. This role requires a keen analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive accuracy and effectiveness in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting Forecasting:
  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed financial models to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget documents and variance analysis reports to track financial performance against forecasts.
• Financial Analysis Reporting:
  • Review and analyze financial data, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare periodic reports on financial performance, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews, and present findings to senior management.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives by leveraging detailed financial analysis.
• Collaboration Communication:
  • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate data collection and consolidation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring effective communication and resolution of any discrepancies.
• Data Integrity Compliance:
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data through rigorous analysis and systematic data validation.
  • Assist in the implementation of financial controls and policies in alignment with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ad Hoc Analysis Special Projects:
  • Support the FPA team with ad hoc analyses and projects as needed, contributing to strategic financial decision-making.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to drive business performance and support strategic initiatives.
