Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Content Marketing & SEO Specialist with 5-7 years of experience to

drive organic lead generation and manage all SEO efforts for our EdTech platform. This

role is key to building a strong online presence through content creation, optimizing the

website for organic search, and experimenting with innovative strategies to generate

high-quality organic leads. The ideal candidate should be highly creative, technically

proficient in SEO, and always on top of the latest trends and opportunities in the digital

marketing space.


Key Responsibilities:


Organic Lead Generation:


  • Lead Generation through SEO: Develop and implement SEO strategies that

specifically focus on generating high-quality organic leads. Optimize the website

and content to attract, engage, and convert visitors into leads without relying on paid

ads.

  • Content Strategy for Lead Generation: Plan and execute content marketing

campaigns aimed at capturing organic traffic, driving conversions, and generating

leads.

  • Target Audience Understanding: Research and identify key target audiences, their

search intent, and pain points to create highly relevant content that drives inbound

organic traffic.


SEO Management:


  • On-Page & Off-Page SEO: Lead all aspects of SEO including keyword research,

on-page optimization, link-building, and off-page strategies to improve rankings for

targeted keywords.

  • Technical SEO: Conduct regular audits to address technical SEO issues affecting

website performance (site speed, mobile optimization, indexation, etc.).

  • Continuous Experimentation & Optimization: Regularly test and experiment with

new SEO tactics and content strategies to determine which methods are most

effective in generating organic leads and increasing conversion rates.

  • Search Engine Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, Google

algorithm updates, and best practices to continuously refine the SEO strategy for

optimal performance.


Content Creation & Optimization:


  • SEO-Optimized Content: Write and oversee the creation of SEO-friendly blog posts,

landing pages, articles, and resources that will attract organic traffic and convert

visitors into leads.

  • Content Calendar & Execution: Manage and execute a content calendar focused

on lead-generation topics, ensuring timely publication and optimization of content.

  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Work closely with the product and sales teams to

ensure that content is designed to not only generate traffic but also increase

conversion rates (e.g., sign-ups, course enrollments, etc.).


Lead Funnel Optimization:

  • Optimize Lead Funnels: Work on improving website user experience, CTAs

(calls-to-action), landing pages, and lead magnets to enhance conversion rates and

move prospects down the lead funnel.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data from Google Analytics, heatmaps, and other tools to

track the performance of organic traffic, identify gaps, and optimize the content and

lead-gen strategy accordingly.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:

  • Industry Trends: Keep up with the latest trends in SEO, content marketing, and

lead-generation strategies in the EdTech industry.

  • Competitive Research: Conduct competitor analysis to uncover opportunities for

organic traffic growth and areas to outperform competitors.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • SEO Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on key SEO performance metrics,

including rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation results. Regularly update the

leadership team on progress.

  • KPIs for Lead Generation: Ensure KPIs related to organic lead generation, traffic,

and conversions are being met, and provide actionable insights for further

optimization.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SEO and content marketing, with

a strong focus on organic lead generation. Previous experience in the EdTech

sector is a plus.

  • SEO Expertise: Deep knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best

practices, with proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs,

Moz, etc.


  • Content Strategy: Strong background in content creation, from blog posts to

long-form articles and lead magnets, with the ability to craft content that converts

visitors into leads.

  • Lead Generation: Proven track record of generating organic leads through SEO

strategies, content, and conversion rate optimization.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze SEO data, experiment with different strategies,

and make data-driven decisions to improve organic lead generation.

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic web development to

collaborate with developers on SEO and technical issues.

  • Creative: Strong creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new ideas

and tactics to improve lead generation.

  • Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to

articulate strategies clearly to stakeholders.


Preferred:

  • EdTech Industry Experience: Knowledge of the EdTech space and its unique

challenges and opportunities.

  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Experience optimizing websites and landing

pages to convert organic traffic into leads effectively.
