XTEN-AV - Software Engineer - C#/.Net (3-6 yrs)

POSITION SUMMARY :

- The software engineer will design and develop innovative, high-quality commercial software for the next generation of AtlasIED family of products.

- This role focuses on creating user-friendly applications and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Software development: Design, develop, and implement scalable, maintainable software applications using C#, .NET framework, Python, and related tools.

Code review :

- Participate in pull request reviews and regular code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.

Technology advancement :

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in software engineering technologies and tools, applying them to enhance the development process and improve software quality.

Knowledge sharing :

- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Innovation :

- Propose and implement innovative solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Process improvement :

- Participate in the continuous improvement of software development processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Technical support :

- Serve as a point of contact for technical escalations, resolving complex technical issues, and providing timely solutions.

- Documentation: Write product and project documentation as required.

- Compliance: Develop ISO procedures related to software and ensure adherence to both engineering and MiTek standards, procedures, and policies.

EDUCATION.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on building robust software applications.

- Demonstrated experience working with and integrating interconnected software modules.

- Hands-on experience integrating third-party software modules into larger systems.

- Expertise in writing industry-standard clean C# code using development environments such as Visual Studio, VSCode, and/or Rider.

SKILLS & ABILITIES :

Computer Skills/Other Requirements.

- Proficiency in C# and .NET framework: Advanced knowledge and practical application of C# and the . NET framework or another high-level programming languages.

- Object-oriented programming: Solid understanding and application of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
