Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Head to lead the sales efforts for our IT Software and Services division. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with over 10 years of experience in the IT software industry, a strong network in the industry, and a proven track record of selling at the CXO level. The Sales Head will be responsible for driving business growth, managing P&L, and executing effective business development and marketing strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales Leadership:
    • Lead and drive the sales strategy for IT software and services.
    • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase revenue and expand market share.
    • Drive business development initiatives and sales opportunities, focusing on high-value accounts.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Leverage your network of industry contacts in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi to generate leads and create long-term client relationships.
    • Engage with CXO-level executives to understand their needs and sell customized solutions.
  • P&L Management:
    • Manage and optimize the divisions P&L, ensuring profitability and meeting sales targets.
    • Oversee the sales funnel and ensure the effective execution of all sales processes from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Sales Team Leadership:
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to sales teams to ensure achievement of targets.
    • Work closely with other departments to align sales strategies with product development and marketing.
  • Target-Based Incentives:
    • Achieve top-line sales targets and receive performance-based compensation ranging from 2-5% of the top line.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of sales experience in the IT software industry.
    • Proven experience in selling to CXO-level executives and senior decision-makers.
    • Expertise in business development, sales strategy, and marketing within the IT sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, especially in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore.
    • In-depth knowledge of the IT software and services landscape and market dynamics.
    • Strong negotiation, closing, and presentation skills.
  • P&L Management:
    • Experience in managing and optimizing a sales departments P&L.
  • Leadership:
    • Ability to manage, inspire, and grow a sales team to achieve set targets.

Salary and Compensation:

  • Retainer: ₹6 Lakh per annum.
  • Incentives: 2-5% of top-line sales based on achieving targets.

Location Flexibility:

  • This role is independent, and candidates can work remotely from North (Delhi), West (Mumbai), or South (Bangalore).
