The HR and Accountant role is a hybrid position responsible for managing human resource functions and overseeing financial transactions. This role will support the organization by ensuring compliance with HR policies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both HR management and accounting principles, ensuring seamless integration of administrative and financial operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Human Resources Responsibilities:


Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage job postings, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
  • Conduct interviews, background checks, and prepare employment contracts.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and foster a positive workplace environment.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and performance appraisals.

Compliance & Policies:

  • Develop and enforce HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and oversee payroll processes.

Learning & Development:

  • Identify training needs and organize development programs.

HR Systems Management:

Use HRIS tools for attendance, leave management, and employee data.


Accounting Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping:

  • Record financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and maintain general ledgers.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Payroll Management:

  • Process payroll, including deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of payroll taxes.

Budgeting & Cost Analysis:

  • Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance.
  • Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for budget optimization.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage vendor payments, invoice processing, and collections.

Audit & Compliance:

Prepare for internal and external audits.

Ensure adherence to financial laws, regulations, and organizational policies.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • [3+ years] of experience in both HR and accounting roles.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, CPA) are a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and HRIS tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
