Job Description

Job Title : HOD - Offline - Channel Sales

Reports to : MD

Reporting in : 30/35 pax

Location : Noida

Job Purpose:

The Offline Sales Head is responsible for overseeing the offline/Channel sales operations across all retail channels and driving business growth through strategic planning, execution, and team management. This leadership role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing relationships with key retail partners, and ensuring the effective operation of offline sales outlets to achieve company revenue goals. The Offline Sales Head will focus on increasing product sales, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring a strong market presence for the brand in offline retail settings.

Roles And Responsibilities:

Offline Retail Operations Management:

- Oversee daily offline retail operations, ensuring high levels of operational efficiency, product availability, and customer satisfaction.

- Ensure that retail stores are adequately staffed, properly managed, and equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.

- Work closely with store managers to ensure consistent visual merchandising, stock management, and the overall presentation of retail locations.

- Implement in-store promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns to increase customer traffic and sales.

- Monitor and improve store standards, sales processes, and operational procedures to maximize sales performance and customer experience.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

- Lead efforts to achieve sales and profitability targets for offline sales channels, ensuring alignment with broader company sales objectives.

- Implement sales techniques, upselling, and cross-selling strategies to drive store sales and enhance customer engagement.

- Analyze offline sales data and customer behavior to identify opportunities for increased revenue and market share.

- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on sales results and continuous improvement.

Team Management & Development:

- Lead, motivate, and develop the offline sales team, ensuring high performance and alignment with business goals.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide ongoing coaching to offline retail staff.

- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service abilities.

- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performance culture within the offline sales team.

- Hire, onboard, and manage store managers and sales staff as needed.

Customer Experience & Satisfaction:

- Ensure that all offline retail outlets consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience, focusing on service quality and customer satisfaction.

- Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.

- Implement customer engagement strategies and loyalty programs to drive repeat business and strengthen customer relationships.

- Ensure customer feedback is collected, analyzed, and used to enhance sales and service quality.

Financial Management & Budgeting:

- Develop and manage the offline sales budget, ensuring financial goals are met and resources are used effectively.

- Monitor and manage the P&L for offline retail channels, optimizing costs and ensuring profitability.

- Track key financial metrics such as sales per store, sales per employee, and cost of goods sold, making adjustments as necessary to improve performance.

Reporting & Analytics:

- Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities.

- Analyze offline sales data, customer trends, and market dynamics to drive strategic decisions and improve sales outcomes.

- Ensure all offline retail operations comply with company policies, standards, and industry regulations.

Vendor & Partner Management:

- Manage relationships with key offline retail partners, suppliers, and external service providers.

- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with third-party vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely deliveries.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability and timely restocking of offline retail locations.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

- 15+ years of experience in offline sales, with at least 10 years in a leadership role in the southern region.

- Proven track record of driving sales growth, managing regional teams, and building strong relationships with retail partners, distributors, and wholesalers.

- In-depth knowledge of the electronics industry, offline sales channels, and regional market dynamics.

- Experience with budget management, forecasting, and setting sales targets.

Education Requirements: MBA- Sales & Marketing
