Lead Designer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design team in the creation of visual assets across various platforms, including web, mobile, and print.
• Oversee the design process from conceptualization to final execution, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with product managers, marketers, developers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered designs that align with business objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping them grow in their careers and elevate the overall design quality of the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, ensuring the teams designs are current, fresh, and innovative.
• Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all design touchpoints
• Review and refine design deliverables, ensuring they meet brand guidelines, are visually appealing, and provide an optimal user experience.
• Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and clients, gathering feedback and making adjustments as necessary.
• Work within an agile environment, delivering designs within project timelines.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  

Skills Required:

• 5-8 years of experience in a design role with a focus on leading creative teams and delivering high-quality design projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work, including UI/UX design, branding, digital marketing, and print materials.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, and other industry-standard design software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Experience with user-centered design principles and creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding a team of designers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional design.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with motion design or animation (e.g., After Effects).
• Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with design systems and branding guidelines.
