Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Commercial Interior Design and Build Company. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various interior design and build projects for commercial clients. You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget, timeline, and quality standards.
Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: - Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
- Conduct regular project meetings, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand client needs and expectations, ensuring they are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to clients in a clear and timely manner.
- Address client feedback, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor project expenses and costs, identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Review and approve project invoices and expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget.
- Manage project teams, including architects, contractors, vendors, and internal resources.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting their professional development.
- Define and enforce quality standards for all project deliverables.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry regulations.
- Implement corrective actions when deviations or issues are identified.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project files.
- Generate regular progress reports, summarizing project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming tasks.
- Prepare project-related presentations and updates for stakeholders, including senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial interior design and build industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Proficient in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control project costs.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
