Key Responsibilities :

- Data Solution Development : Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows using Azure Cloud services (blob storage, SQL databases, REST APIs).

- Big Data Projects : Lead end-to-end delivery of big data projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, scalability, and leveraging Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data lakehouse architectures.

- Programming and Data Processing : Utilize Scala (mandatory) or Python (optional) for data processing and transformation, and develop complex SQL queries to manipulate and analyze large datasets.

- Collaboration and Problem-Solving : Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions, solving complex data engineering challenges.

- Leadership and Impact : Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and help businesses unlock the full potential of their data through advanced engineering practices.

Key Skills in Focus :

- Technical Proficiency : Expertise in Scala (mandatory), with optional experience in Python, and advanced SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and analysis.

- Data Engineering Expertise : Proven experience in developing complex data pipelines and workflows, with successful delivery of at least one major big data project to production.

- Azure Cloud Mastery : Proficiency in Azure Cloud services, including blob storage and SQL databases; experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building scalable data solutions.
