Gloify - Azure Data Engineer - Medallion Architecture (4-6 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions using the Medallion architecture. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL data warehousing, and managing incremental refreshes for large-scale transactional data tables.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

- Develop and maintain scalable Medallion architecture for data lakes and data warehouses.

- Optimize SQL data warehousing solutions for performance and scalability.

- Configure and manage incremental data refreshes for large-scale transactional data tables.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data workflows and pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering.

- Proficiency in implementing Medallion architecture.

- Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and its integration with other Azure services.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with incremental data processing and managing large transactional datasets.

- Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and best practices.

- Familiarity with Azure ecosystem, including Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks (preferred).
