About the Role

Uber Scaled Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition & University Partnerships Specialist to drive sourcing and onboarding efforts for gig workers. This role involves lead generation, market research, outreach, and relationship-building with freelancers, universities, and student organizations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cold calling, setting up meetings, and executing strategies to attract skilled gig workers to the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Outreach

• Identify and source potential gig workers through online platforms, job boards, university networks, and industry forums.
• Conduct market research to find new sourcing channels and build freelancer databases.
• Cold call and reach out to potential candidates via email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
• Engage with potential candidates to assess their interest and qualifications.
• Guide freelancers through the registration and onboarding process.

University Partnerships & Student Engagement

• Develop & manage partnerships with university administrators, student bodies, and career services to create awareness about Ubers student gig work opportunities.
• Engage with student organizations to drive participation and sign-ups.
• Lead generation through cold calling, networking, and outreach to universities and student groups.
• Pitch and present Uber Scaled Solutions' gig opportunities to students, highlighting the benefits of AI exposure and flexible work.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials, events, and outreach strategies for student

What Were Looking For

• 1-5 years of experience in sourcing, recruitment, business development, university relations, partnerships, campus recruiting, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and networking skills to engage potential candidates and university stakeholders.
• Experience with lead generation, cold calling, and market research is highly preferred.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently and remotely.
• Familiarity with freelance and gig work platforms is a plus.
