Role & responsibilities

Hard Goods Merchandiser

• Minimum 5 years experience in Metal & Wooden furniture (Buying house experience will be preferred)
• B.E/B.Tech - Production/Industrial/Mechanical or similar qualification
• Need good communication skills (speaking & writing) to communicate with buyers/Supplier
• Need to have good knowledge of product/development process/price negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Responsible for all follow-ups with buyer & supplier from the development stage till order confirmation up to the shipping process.
• Required to have regular follow-up on production time & action plans with factories.
• Understanding of production & approval process of product & also required to conduct pre-production meeting with a supplier.
• Knowledge of checking Inspection reports from Quality department.
• Labeling and packaging checking with vendor for artwork and taking approval from buyer.
• Follow with Factories for Testing/Audit/ compliance as per buyer requirements.
• Should be well adapted in Email, Excel, PPT, Word, etc
• Traveling is required so should be able to travel to visit factories for follow-up/improvement.

Good Communication skill , Good Knowledge and expertise in the desired field , Computer literate, Team Leader ,ready to Travel , Negotiable related to price with buyer /seller.
