Senior Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Overview: The Financial Analyst for IT will play a crucial role in preparing and monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and supporting strategic planning within the IT department. This position requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, tax implications, and cash flow management. Imbedded in the IT Financial performance team to ensure efficient allocation of financial resources and propose effective financial governance structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Budget Preparation and Monitoring:
  • Prepare and monitor monthly budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate allocation of financial resources, including headcount and revenue data across regions.
• Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning:
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Share budget and expense information from other corporate functions, ensuring clear norms and execution of budget and expense allocation.
• Accounting and Financial Reporting:
  • Oversee accounting processes, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Tax Compliance and Planning:
  • Support IT on tax implications and develop proactive OPEX and CAPEX strategies.
  • Manage tax compliance and planning to optimize the company’s tax position.
• IT Operational Model Analysis:
  • Analyze the IT operational model and its impact on the IT business model and regional budgets.
  • Provide expertise on the IT operational model to enhance budget management.
• Cash Flow and Financial Risk Management:
  • Manage the company’s cash flow, investments, and financial risk.
  • Assess the impact of cash flow strategies on the IT budget and regional benefits.
• Financial Governance:
  • Propose a financial governance structure in collaboration with the IT team.
  • Develop the best approach to managing the IT budget, including recharges with the regions.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within an IT environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and planning.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
