Role Summary
WSP is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and delivery-oriented candidate who has practical experience with Environment Data Management service.
As an Environment Data Management Consultant you will assist with project teams to set-up pre-sampling database structure to Contaminated lands, Environmental Planning, and Environmental Impact Assessment, and other environmental investigations projects.
Assess and optimize our environmental data management system and support environmental projects through effective data management, analysis, and visualization.
The successful candidate will collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, and GIS specialists to ensure our data processes are accurate, efficient, and future-ready. If you have a strong technical background in data management, an eye for system optimization, and a vision for the future of environmental data delivery, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Assess current data management workflows and systems to identify strengths, areas for enhancement, and opportunities to improve data quality and efficiency.
Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
Research and recommend emerging technologies (e.g., cloud solutions, machine learning applications, or improved visualization tools) for environmental data management.
Assist in developing project budgets and estimates for data-related components.
