Junior Engineer - Instrumentation and Control (Oil & Gas)

Job Title: Junior Engineer - Instrumentation and Control (Oil &Gas)

Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for a motivated and talented Junior Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. As a Junior Engineer - Instrumentation and Control, you will be responsible for supporting the design & Detail engineering of instrumentation and control systems in oil and gas projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the design and implementation of instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas processes
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems in Oil & Gas projects
• knowledge and experience in selection & sizing of instruments, Technical Bid evaluation, MR, Datasheet and specification preparation
• knowledge of control system software and hardware, such PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI
• Assisting senior engineers in design & detail engineering of Instrumentation & control system for various projects
• Shall be familiar with industry standards such NEC, IEC and Canadian standards.
• Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to Team Lead

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation / electronics Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
