Principal Engineer - District Cooling and Heating

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Engineer specializing in District Cooling and Heating systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our district energy systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and sustainability in our operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead the design and development of district cooling and heating systems, including the selection of equipment, components, and materials.
- Conduct feasibility studies, energy modeling, and system simulations to optimize district energy systems.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for improving energy efficiency and sustainability in district cooling and heating operations.
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and other engineering disciplines to integrate district energy systems into new and existing projects.
- Oversee project management activities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for new projects and upgrades to existing systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies.
- Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with community needs.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in the design, analysis, and operation of district cooling and heating systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
