CAD Technician - Highways

iCRC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled CAD Technician - Highways to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and drafting plans for highway infrastructure projects. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality and precise drawings that meet industry standards and project specifications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare detailed CAD drawings and plans for highway design projects, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and utility layouts.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to interpret project requirements and produce accurate technical drawings.
- Review and modify existing drawings based on project changes or feedback from stakeholders.
- Ensure all designs are compliant with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on drafting progress and challenges.
- Maintain organized records of CAD files and project documents.
- Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation as required.
- Utilize the latest CAD software and technologies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Support the team with any additional tasks as needed to ensure project success.

**Qualifications:**

- Associate s degree or equivalent certification in CAD technology, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician, preferably with a focus on highways or transportation projects.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and familiar with relevant design tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, construction methods, and material specifications.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, precise work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualization software.
- Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) and other relevant software.
