Essential Qualification & Desirable:

• CA with 1+ years. of working experience in external and or internal audits(PQE).
• Demonstrated ability to define and implement a risk assessment and monitoring program.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Internal control principles.
• Internal Control qualification /experience in a similar profile.
• Ideal candidates should have been exposed to an accounting firm/CA Firm either as an associate in the firm or as an auditee of the firm.

Experience

Relevant experience requires in 1 year of experience in industry exposure from manufacturing or pharmaceutical.

• Communication skill to build commitment, create adherence and report to management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple project work effectively with cross functional partner and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization.
• Ability to handle confidential information and material with appropriate discretion.

Technical skills

• Knowledge of IT based analytical tools.
• Advance knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Related tools.
• Working Knowledge in SAP Environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure critical processes are well documented in the forms of SOPs (Inventory, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Payments, Financial Closing, Banking and Treasury to name a few, this is not exhaustive list) and same are well communicated to respective process owners.
• Maintain and update the delegations matrices for financial authority, implement contract signing matrix and ensure the same reflects the changes in organization structure from time to time.
• Conjointly with process owners, monitoring, the definition and enforcement of proper segregation of duties rules, ensure they are in line with accounting requirement and audits standards.
• Conjointly with process owners and IS performs regular reviews of potential user access conflicts in information systems, and propose organization changes and or mitigating controls.
• Implement and maintain updations to the risk and control matrices for all processes throughout the organization.
• Perform Testing of design control & operating effectiveness of mandatory control as mandates by ICAI.
• Ensure a timely and details follow up of the implementation of internal audit recommendations. Report progress to MD, CFO and Board of directors.
• Support activities conducted by external auditors related to internal control and facilities exchange of information between the affiliates and external auditors.
• Follow up internal control weakness highlighted by external auditors, ensure adequate action plans have been defined and follow up implementation and report progress to Head Internal Control.
• Provide support and internal control advice for specific project, including company integration process and tenders for distribution/logistical services.
• Conduct focused internal control reviews upon specific request (from corporate, Region, GM, Country CFO, Head Internal Control etc.)
