Senior Frontend Engineer

Wrike is an enterprise-ready, cloud-based collaborative work management platform for managing cross-functional work at scale that is fully configurable and enables contextual collaboration in a secure environment. Enterprises use Wrike to offer a single digital workplace for all of their departments and teams.

One of our internal teams is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer who can help develop and evolve our technical foundation, client architecture and development tools. In this role, youll have the freedom to use your skills to make important decisions that will have a noticeable impact on the Wrike product. Additionally, youll have opportunities to learn and grow as you work.

Our internal team focuses on enhancing the developer experience and creating tools to support our teams in building and releasing product features, including: architecture and performance, security, code and application metrics, as well as developer experience, tooling, and process automations. Our team consists of 5 engineers, managed by Ivan Sinegovsky, our Technical Engineering Manager.

How we work

• Bachelor/Masters degree in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with optimizing performance of web applications
• Experience in designing microfrontend based applications
• Experience in web development (React, Webpack, Redux)
• Advanced communication skills in English
  
  

• Experience in building web applications architecture with React
• Building complex components combining different semantics and logic (i.e. Dashboards, Table View)
• Experience with Websocket, Progressive loading, Real-Time Updates
• Experience with ESLint, PostCSS
• A team player attitude: You actively engage other members of the team
• Leadership skills: You place a high regard on the standard and quality of your work, without cutting corners
• Good communication skills: You actively listen to others, sharing your opinions without hesitation and are able to stimulate a conversation even when discussions are not flowing
• A desire to mentor and support less experienced developers
• An ability to motivate and inspire confidence in your colleagues
