Position Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Delivery Manager with outstanding interpersonal and team
management skills to lead and grow our 100% remote delivery team. The ideal candidate will be
a dynamic leader, capable of fostering strong relationships both within the team and with clients,
ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services. You will play a key role in building a culture of
collaboration, growth, and accountability, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within
scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing remote delivery team, fostering a culture of
trust, open communication, and continuous improvement.
• Cultivate strong interpersonal relationships with team members across various time
zones, promoting engagement, morale, and a sense of belonging.
• Actively nurture team dynamics by fostering open communication, trust, and a shared
commitment to quality and deadlines.
• Act as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring client expectations are
clearly understood, communicated, and delivered.
• Facilitate collaboration across teams, ensuring that developers, product owners, and
stakeholders are aligned on project goals and timelines.
• Proactively identify and address team challenges, fostering an environment where team
members feel supported and empowered to do their best work.
• Coach and guide team members through complex challenges, encouraging skills
development and promoting professional growth.
• Ensure successful project delivery by managing timelines, resources, risks, and budgets,
while maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Promote strong communication practices across the remote team, utilizing effective tools
and techniques for virtual collaboration.
• Conflict resolution: Address and resolve interpersonal conflicts or issues within the team
swiftly and diplomatically.
• Monitor and report on project performance, team productivity, and delivery metrics to
leadership and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and operational
efficiency.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and building strong,
long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and transparency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure delivery is
aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Manage project risks, timelines, and resources while maintaining accountability within the
team for deliverables and project outcomes.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and implementing
strategies to enhance productivity and team satisfaction.
• Implement effective remote work management practices, ensuring seamless collaboration,
communication, and productivity across different time zones.
• Track and report on project progress, team performance, and KPIs, providing clear insights
to both leadership and clients.
• Address and resolve delivery challenges, ensuring a proactive approach to problem-solving
and team support.
Requirements:
• Proven experience (10+ years) as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or in a similar
leadership role within an IT services or consulting environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to foster trust, communication, and
collaboration within a remote team.
• Experience in building, leading and managing remote teams, with a focus on team
development, performance management, and morale building.
• A natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders,
ensuring satisfaction and alignment.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and
tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to manage
diverse personalities and ensure alignment within the team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining
quality and timeliness.
• Experience managing the delivery of complex IT projects, especially in cloud, enterprise
applications, and data & analytics.
• Familiarity with the retail, CPG, or fashion industries is a plus.
