The Role.

As a Principal Structural Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc?.

Develop and analyze structural designs for marine structures such as offshore platforms, ships, submarines, and coastal infrastructure.

Perform detailed structural calculations, simulations, and evaluations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.

Monitor project progress and provide technical support to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Ensure designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including environmental and safety requirements.

Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards in marine environments.

Prepare and review technical reports, design documentation, and engineering drawings.

Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and team members.

Provide technical support during construction, installation, and maintenance phases.

Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify structural performance and resolve any issues.

Stay current with advancements in marine structural engineering and integrate new technologies and methodologies into project designs.

Participate in research initiatives to develop innovative solutions for complex marine engineering challenges.

About You.

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:.

Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

A Masters degree or higher is a plus.

18+ years of experience in marine structural engineering, including experience with offshore structures and marine environments.

Proficiency in structural analysis software (e g, SAP2000, ANSYS, or similar).

Strong understanding of marine engineering principles and structural design codes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
