Job Description
- Supporting engagement with textile MSMEs in Surat, local partners, and other relevant stakeholders,
- Assisting in creating knowledge products such as reports, statistical analysis, and data collection.
- Supporting the team with the documentation of key insights and learnings from the engagements with various stakeholders groups,
- Supporting the team with the pilot-testing of interventions, skill training and other on-ground activities at the cluster and state level.
- Postgraduate degree in environmental/ climate science, economics, public policy, engineering, statistics, urban/ environmental planning, or related subjects.
- 0- 1 years of work experience in research roles related to one or more of these topics: MSME, environment issues, energy sector, climate policy, emissions inventory, or related topics.
- Writing experience expressed through published reports or written documentation.
- Preferred any experience in planning, coordinating capacity building or skilling programs amongst communities, small businesses, women, entrepreneurs, or experienced/semi-experienced workers is desired.
- Awareness of environment and climate domain - main issues and trends.
- Ability to work with and coordinate with multiple partners.
- Fluent in English and Gujarati or Hindi is preferred language
- Engage constructively and collaboratively with the team and a sense
