Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior POS Services Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java services development, with expertise in retail solutions and a preference for candidates experienced in Oracle POS.

This role requires a deep commitment to test-driven development (TDD) practices and a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain POS-related services and solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support retail software solutions.

- Ensure adherence to test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle POS or other retail systems.

- Optimize and enhance Java services for performance and scalability.

- Document code, processes, and solutions effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Java services development.

- Proven experience in the retail domain, with a preference for Oracle POS expertise.

- Strong understanding and application of test-driven development (TDD) principles.

- Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with other services.

- Knowledge of databases (preferably Oracle) and familiarity with SQL queries.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
