Job Description
- Graduate Engineer in Mechanical / Chemical disciplines with minimum 8-15 years experience
- Industry Type - Life sciences / Chemical
- Experience in working with engineering consultancies and EPC companies for design engineering is desirable.
- Knowledge on relevant mechanical design codes like ASME, BS, API, Indian Standards
- Should have good exposure in pharma industry guidelines such ISPE, USFDA, WHO
- Field / Shop experience on the Equipment related to life science projects is preferrable.
- Should be familiar with concept, basic and detailed design engineering for Life Sciences and Chemical projects.
- Should have thorough knowledge in pharmaceutical standards and codes such as ASME, ASME- BPE, API 650 ,IS, WHO, Pharmacopeia and USFDA
- Should be familiar with pharma equipment like, Stainless steel reactor, Glass lined reactor, fermenters, Bio reactors, Filtration equipment (Centrifuge, Agitated Neutch Filter, Sparkler Filters, Rotary Drum Filter, Disc Filters etc.,) Drying equipment, Milling equipment and automated Packaging system.
- Should be familiar with formulation, fill finish, fermentation, and bio process equipment.
- Should be familiar with various types of utility equipment like chillers, brine chillers, compressors, boilers, and Nitrogen plants.
- Should be familiar with clean utility system like potable, purified, WFi water system and Pure steam generation system.
- Should have good knowledge in material handling system for raw and finished goods.
- Good knowledge of design software like PvElite, COMPRESS,
- Analysis, design Sizing of static equipment based on the customer specifications relevant codes standards.
- Should be familiar with equipment layout and 3-D model as part of design reviews.
- Proficient in producing designs, Mechanical data sheet, requisitions, TBEs and document reviews for a wide range of Static, Rotary and Packaged equipment.
- Coordinate with external / Internal clients
- Coordinate with vendors and interface with other Engineering discipline
- Ability to clarify technical queries and design change approval.
- Should have good knowledge in FAT, SAT procedure and quality standards.
- Monitor/control scope, budgets, quality, and schedule on an assigned project
Visit site and vendor shop for technical meetings and acceptance test, on need basis
