Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to support automated and manual testing efforts.
Lead the creation of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to define test requirements, establish test plans, and ensure adequate test coverage.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Identify and implement tools, technologies, and processes to improve testing efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
Analyze and review test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and performance.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with test automation scripting.
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualification & Experience Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and test architecture.
Demonstrated experience in leading testing initiatives and driving quality improvements across multiple projects.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) would be advantageous.
