Job Description
- Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to support automated and manual testing efforts.
- Lead the creation of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to define test requirements, establish test plans, and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Identify and implement tools, technologies, and processes to improve testing efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
- Analyze and review test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and performance.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and experience with test automation scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualification & Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and test architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in leading testing initiatives and driving quality improvements across multiple projects.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) would be advantageous.
