Job Description
Job Summary
Web Neural Infotech is seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team and help build scalable and high-performance web applications. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for developing back-end components, designing and implementing APIs, and collaborating closely with front-end developers. The ideal candidate has a passion for web development and is proficient in Ruby on Rails, with a solid understanding of best coding practices.
Your Role and Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code within the Ruby on Rails framework. Develop and maintain back-end components and APIs to support front-end applications. Integrate data storage solutions, including databases like MySQL , PostgreSQL , or SQLite . Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs to enhance application performance and scalability. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Write clear, maintainable code and document technical specifications for seamless knowledge transfer. Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and agile development practices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise Proficiency in Ruby on Rails with a deep understanding of the Rails framework and libraries. Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API development . Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with relational databases like MySQL , PostgreSQL , or SQLite . Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git . Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with testing tools like RSpec or MiniTest .
Qualification & Experience Required Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience Level: Open to both freshers and experienced candidates. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deployment is an advantage. Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative tools is preferred
