Job Summary
WN Infotech is looking for a dedicated and analytical Performance Test Engineer to join our team. As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software applications meet high-performance standards by conducting thorough performance testing and analysis. Your role will be crucial in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and test scripts for software applications.
- Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing to assess system performance.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work closely with development teams to address and resolve issues.
- Analyze test results and generate detailed reports outlining performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements and ensure performance testing aligns with project goals.
- Monitor and benchmark system performance against established performance criteria.
- Continuously research and stay updated with the latest performance testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Document and communicate performance testing processes, results, and recommendations effectively.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with monitoring and profiling tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics.
- Solid knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and database performance tuning.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools.
Qualification & Experience Required
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in performance testing or performance engineering are a plus.
- 0 to 5 years of experience in performance testing or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and performance testing methodologies.
