Job Description
- Develop and execute detailed regression test plans to ensure the stability and functionality of software after updates and changes.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to streamline regression testing processes.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes.
- Analyze test results, generate test reports, and provide feedback to stakeholders on software quality and readiness.
- Continuously improve regression testing strategies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that regression tests cover all critical aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, and security.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in regression testing and automation.
- Strong understanding of regression testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 0 to 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on regression testing and test automation.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing automated regression test scripts.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level Certification in Software Testing would be advantageous.
