QA - Job Description

1. Execute duties as a Manual Tester
2. Foster close collaboration and communication among diverse teams and studios.
3. Evaluate requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback.
4. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases.
5. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
6. Identify, record, thoroughly document, and track bugs.
7. Conduct comprehensive regression testing post bug resolution.
8. Formulate and implement testing processes for new and existing products based on requirements.
9. Collaborate with internal studio teams (Developers, Product Owners, Designers) to ascertain system requirements.
10. Extract test requirements from specifications.
11. Troubleshoot quality issues and adjust test procedures accordingly.
12. Respond to requests from internal teams and QA Leads.
13. Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
14. Record software defects, monitor progress in a timely manner, and escalate aging and priority defects.
15. Present the test coverage matrix, linking test requirements to test cases.
16. Lead and innovate in QA processes and methodologies.
17. Contribute to shaping the companys testing strategy and practices.

Proficient in software QA methodologies and processes. Proficient in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases. High-level analytical and critical thinking skills. Good written and verbal communication skills.
