We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our sales team and help expand our B2B customer base across multiple sectors such as SaaS, finance, technology, lifestyle, and more.
This role is based in Pune, and the ideal candidate should essentially have 1+ years of full time experience in Client Servicing/Business Development within Marketing Agencies or B2B sales, particularly in SaaS.
You will be responsible for the complete onboarding and account management process - from project kickoff and upselling to onboarding and supporting projects by being in this client facing role.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identify and approach new potential customers through various channels including email, LinkedIn, and industry events.
Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring they have a smooth and successful start with our services.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering consistent support and ensuring their needs are met.
Monitor and measure sales performance, working towards revenue goals and maximizing the value of each account.
Strategically map accounts to uncover new opportunities for upselling and expanding existing relationships.
Work closely with the Content Operations team to ensure that client deliverables meet the agreed standards of quality and timeliness.
Accurately forecast sales outcomes, report on client activities, and use CRM tools for effective tracking and communication.
Requirements
As a Business Development Executive at WittyPen, you are expected to possess at least 1 year of full time experience working in sales or client service with B2B software or tech companies. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and knowledge about project management tools, CRM, and reporting.

At least 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, particularly in SaaS, Technology, or Marketing Agencies.
Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Familiarity with CRM software, project management tools, and sales reporting.
Understanding of B2B sales approaches, including inbound and inside sales.
Experience in managing and expanding client relationships.
Knowledge of content marketing is a plus.
Skilled at using MS Office tools for daily tasks and reporting.
MBA or equivalent educational background preferred.
Experience in forecasting sales and achieving revenue targets is a plus.
Job Details:
Full-time, in-office position based in Baner, Pune, India.
Choose any 8 hours per day within a 10 am-8 pm window (40 hours per week).
