Duck Creek Claims Developer - .Net Technologies (3-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duck Creek Claims Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing Duck Creek Claims V11/V12 to meet our clients' specific needs.

You will leverage your expertise in .NET, Duck Creek modules, and P&C insurance domain knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.

This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of insurance processes.

Responsibilities :

- Configure and customize Duck Creek Claims V11/V12 to meet business requirements.

- Develop and maintain extensions and advanced extension points within the Duck Creek Claims system.

- Configure and customize Party, Module, and Task Creation functionalities.

- Customize Automated Reserves to align with business rules.

- Develop and maintain .NET applications and components related to Duck Creek Claims.

- Utilize the .NET framework to enhance and extend Duck Creek Claims functionalities.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Apply a strong understanding of underwriting, rating, insurance rules, and forms to configure Duck Creek Claims.

- Leverage experience in the Insurance/P&C insurance domain to provide effective solutions.

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Duck Creek Claims configurations and customizations.

- Provide technical support to end-users and address their inquiries.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and QA engineers.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Document development processes and procedures.

- Adhere to Duck Creek best practices and coding standards.

- Ensure compliance with relevant insurance regulations and industry standards.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Duck Creek releases and features.

Required Skills :

- Duck Creek Claims : Strong experience in Duck Creek Claims V11/V12

- .NET Development : Strong experience with .NET and the .NET framework.

- Claims Configuration : Hands-on experience in Claims Configuration and Console modules.

- Party Configuration : Configuring and customizing Party functionalities.

- Module and Task Creation : Hands-on experience in Module, Task Creation, Configuring, Customizing, Extension, and Advanced Extension points.

- Automated Reserves : Good knowledge of customizing Automated Reserves.

- Insurance Domain : Good understanding of underwriting, rating, insurance rules, and forms.

- P&C Insurance : Experience in the Insurance/P&C insurance domain.

- Communication : Excellent communication skills.

- 3+ years of experience in Duck Creek Claims development and configuration.

- Strong proficiency in .NET development.

- Proven experience in customizing Duck Creek Claims modules.

- Deep understanding of P&C insurance domain.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
