Duck Creek Developer - Policy/Billing/Claims Module (6-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Duckcreek Configuration :

- Design, develop, and configure Duckcreek Policy, Billing, and Claims solutions.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Configure Duckcreek products (Policy, Billing, Claims) according to business needs and best practices.

- Develop and maintain complex rules, ratings, workflows, and integrations.

- Participate in all phases of the Duckcreek implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live support.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Duckcreek configurations.

Technical Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Duckcreek Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.

- In-depth knowledge of Duckcreek configuration tools (Policy/Billing Author, Express 2, Claims Studio).

- Experience with Duckcreek integrations with other systems.

- Experience with Duckcreek on Cloud (DCOD) is preferred.

- Experience with Duckcreek versions :

1. Policy/Billing : 7.x or higher

2. Claims : 11.x or higher

- Experience with Express 3.0 or willingness to learn.

Project Management :

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills :

- Java/J2EE (preferred)

- SQL

- XML

- Web Services (REST/SOAP)

- Scripting Languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python)

- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

Key Requirements :

- Duckcreek Experience : At least 6 years of hands-on Duckcreek experience.

- Configuration Focus : Primary focus on Duckcreek configuration with limited production support experience.

- Preferred Areas of Expertise : Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.

- Project Experience : At least one full Duckcreek implementation project.

- Tools Proficiency : Must have strong experience with Duckcreek configuration tools (Policy/Billing Author, Express 2, Claims Studio).

- Agile Experience : Proven experience working in Agile development environments.

- Technical Skills : Strong understanding of Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, and Web Services.
