Duck Creek DMS Configuration Specialist (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

Duck Creek Distribution Management System (DMS) Configuration Specialist with hands-on experience implementing the full end to end Duck Creek DMS product for at least one client. This role demands a strong background in Java programming, and a solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Octopus build processes. In addition, the ideal candidate should have robust SQL skills, proven experience in building RESTful APIs, and exposure to various integration projects such as DocuSign/Adobe Sign, address validation, and NIPR integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

DMS Implementation & Configuration :

- Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration of the Duck Creek DMS product for client engagements.

- Customize and optimize the system to meet specific client business requirements.

Development & Integration :

- Utilize Java and Eclipse IDE for code development, system customization, and troubleshooting.

- Design and develop RESTful APIs to support system integrations.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Duck Creek DMS with existing client systems, including integrating third-party solutions.

Integration Projects :

- Work on integrating electronic signature solutions such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign.

- Implement address validation integrations to ensure data accuracy.

- Facilitate integration with NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry) as needed.

Build & Deployment Management :

- Manage and oversee the Jenkins build process to ensure reliable continuous integration and delivery.

- Implement and maintain the Octopus build process for effective deployment automation.

Database Management :

- Employ SQL to extract, manipulate, and report on data as required by project specifications.

- Ensure data integrity and assist in resolving any database-related issues.

Collaboration & Client Support :

- Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.

- Provide technical support and expertise during and post-implementation phases.

Documentation & Process Improvement :

- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, integrations, and build processes.

- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance system

- performance and implementation efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Proven experience implementing the full Duck Creek DMS product for at least one client.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proficient in Duck Creek Distribution Management System (DMS).

- Strong command of Java programming.

- Proficient in using Eclipse IDE for development tasks.

- In-depth knowledge of Jenkins and Octopus build processes.

- Solid understanding of SQL and database management concepts.

- Proven experience in building RESTful APIs.

Integration Expertise (Good to Have) :

- Experience with implementing electronic signature integrations, such as DocuSign or Adobe Sign.

- Familiarity with address validation integration.

- Experience with NIPR integration is a plus.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Relevant certifications in Duck Creek Platform or related areas are desirable.
