Software Engineer

Responsible in taking up DevOps engineering activities within Data management Platform
Expected to build various DevOps pipelines as required.
Key Requirements:
Experience in
? Docker
? Kubernetes
? Jenkins pipelines (bash, groovy) within GCP
? DevOps practices (Git, Git Flow and/or GitHub Flow)
? Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
Nice to have
? Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field.
? 3+ years of experience in system/ infrastructure design, operations.
? Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques
? 2+ years of knowledge of programming languages:(e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala)
? Technical knowledge and breadth of technology services (Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning, BigQuery, DataFlow)
? Automation scripting (using scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible etc.)
? Works collaboratively in an agile environment with DevOps application PODs
? Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams,
? Experience working with highly available/high-load web infrastructure e.g. web proxies, reverse proxies
? Risk management effectiveness
? Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
? Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
? Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools
