PlainID Authorization Engineer

Location: Pune / Bangalore NT Office/ Vendor Office

Working hours: 1pm IST to 10.00 pm IST

Experience Level: 6-10 yrs

PlainID Authorization Engineer

• To assist in building centralized authorization platform on premise and Cloud(Azure)
• To develop and maintain Java Sprint boot based Microservices
• To assist in locally deployed and centralized managed authorization platform
• Conduct POC for new scenarios
• Provide operational consultation to Application teams in onboarding PlainID Solution
• Review existing authorization policies and develop Policies in PlainId
• Test the policy before releasing to application teams
• Support weekend deployments and participate in off hour troubleshooting
• Participate in ITSM processes for change management
• Work on implementing integrating Plain ID with other platforms/services
• Work on Product upgrades, installations and configurations
• Suggest and implement PlainID authorizers for application teams
• Work on monitoring and maintenance of the product
• Analyze the requirements to identify and suggest policy building blocks.
• Assist in the process of translating business requirements into policies.
• Suggest ways to optimize policies and conduct policies reviews.
• Answer general questions regarding policy design, creation, and management.
• Work with PlainID Product/Support teams to expedite issues resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline and experience in information security, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Deep knowledge of Java Springboot Platform
• Deep knowledge of PlainId product and features
• Deep understanding of authoring policy for authorization by understanding business scenarios
• Knowledge on Applications architecture patterns, Microservices, containerization on public Cloud ( Azure / AWS)
• Very good understanding of concepts related to docker Security, container orchestration/Kubernetes, mTLS, Dapper, Service Mesh and security scenarios
• Strong knowledge on Identities management on Azure AD or Okta with OAuth, OIDC, SAML
• Knowledge on Okta, PingFederate, Entitlement management solutions
• Excellent consultative and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with partner, and IT management and staff.
• Strong collaboration skills and a analytical ability
• Certifications on Azure, AWS security will be preferred
