Job Description


Job description for Application packaging:
  • Should have good communication skills in English to interact directly with the customer. Should have proper email etiquettes.
  • Should have strong knowledge of Application packaging using Admi Studio tool, language skills like VBScript, PowerShell
  • Should have strong knowledge in APPV 5. Basics of APPV 4.6 would be an added advantage.
  • Should have strong SCCM knowledge.
  • Should have strong troubleshooting skills for issues arising at end users side for MSI, APPV, SCCM deployment.
  • Should be able to think out of the box for various scenarios when one methodology is not working for a particular issue.
  • Should be able to understand the end-to-end process of EUC Certification. Should have the insights to read beyond the planning notes, to understand the actual requirement of an app packaging request.
  • Should be able to understand the history of an application in and out in the sense how it was packaged, what was its requirements earlier and then come to a decision on how to package the current request.
  • Should be able to decode the glitches in planning notes and lab tech teams findings of an application and steer the packaging to right direction by coordinating with the planner/lab team or customer (if needed).
  • Should be willing to contribute to SIP periodically by giving automations for various activities related to the end-to-end process.

    • Should have basic knowledge on VMWare vSphere. If not, then he/she must be a quick learner of activities that may be beyond app packaging.
