Role: Snowflake DBT

Location: Preferably Hyderabad. Other locations will also work.

Type: Hybrid; 3 days in Wipro office

JD:

Strong SQL skills, including CTE. Have Snowflake experience or very strong Database experience, i.e. have tuned SQL before. Have an understanding of Wiproe / DBT Cloud and preferably have used it before. Show a good understanding of development best practices, peer reviews, and unit tests etc. Understand fundamental data modeling concepts (3NF, Star, Snowflake, the grain of data et al)Have experience of Data Analysis and Data Profiling tasks.

Technical Skills:

• SQL and Database Expert
• Good understanding of Database concepts.
• Expert/In-depth knowledge of SQL: Building, debugging and tuning complex queries, business rules engines.
• Able to create big complex SQL queries and load and extract data from Datawarehouse
• Efficient at resource optimization, analytics, and SQL performance tuning.
• Prepare data as part of an ETL or ELT process, and perform transform-load in cloud based Datawarehouse
• Dimensional Data Modelling and Semantic layer building for BI, DWH, Reporting and Analytics.
• Strong programming and algorithmic skills
• Nice to have experience in Cloud based Datawarehouse (Snowflake)
• Nice to have experience in Analytics/Reporting platform (Preferred - Looker)
• Nice to have experience of cloud technologies (Preferred- Azure)

Others:

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
