General Manager - Supply Chain (15-18 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Execution:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals.

- Optimize supply chain networks to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

2. Vendor Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

3. Network Design & Optimization:

- Establish and enhance supply chain networks to ensure seamless operations and delivery.

- Evaluate logistics and distribution models for continuous improvement.

4. Pricing and Cost Management:

- Analyze market trends to establish competitive pricing strategies.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or timelines.

5. Leadership & Decision-Making:

- Lead a matrix team and foster collaboration across departments.

- Provide strategic insights and make data-driven decisions to resolve operational challenges.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership to align supply chain activities with organizational goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to ensure supply chain efficiency.

7. Travel & On-the-Go Operations:

- Oversee supply chain operations across multiple locations.

- Be willing to travel as needed to meet vendors, review operations, and address supply chain issues on-site.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, preferably in the home appliance or consumer durables industry.

- Demonstrated expertise in network setting, vendor negotiations, and pricing strategies.

- Strong analytical skills and decision-making ability with a strategic mindset.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage matrix teams and senior stakeholders.
