QC Engineer (Mechanical)

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Inspect parts for conformance with engineering drawing.

2. Inspection of raw material, incoming and in-process parts, as per specification.

3. Mechanical Parts inspection of milling, turning, laser cut, casting, grinding, etc.

4. Knowledge of using measuring instruments and gauges

• Micrometers
• Vernier Caliper
• Depth Micrometers
• Depth Vernier
• Bore Gauge
• Plug gauge / Snap gauge
• Height master
• Hardness tester
• Roughness tester

5. Make entry of inspection report in ERP system.

6. Communicate with vendors regarding defective parts, and possible solutions.

7. Coordinate with vendors for prioritising.

8. Onsite inspection at vendors premises, willing to travel.

9. Nesting of parts for laser cut (Solidworks - training provided)

10.Knowledge of Ultrasonic Test.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate preferred from: Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Central Line, Hourbar Line

• ITI / Diploma Mechanical or allied
• Has own motorbike/scooter.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments, and measurement techniques.
• Able to read and interpret part detailed drawings, and tolerances GD&T.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be regarded
• Training provided.
