Software Project Manager (15-20 yrs)

You will be responsible for :

- Work together with the Business Analyst to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.

- Work closely with the Business Analyst and Sales, to understand the system's function and non-functional requirements.

- Demonstrate to our clients the deployment of software upgrades, enhancements and fixes that are coordinated based on release schedules.

- Create software development plans aligned with our clients' evolving needs and market trends, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

- Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.

- Deliver architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency in line with business strategy.

- Evolve the existing software system applications and architecture in various areas as needed.

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architecture.

- Develop and maintain current and planned state architectural blueprints.

- Develop and maintain a aspirational architectural road map for the enterprise.

- Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.

- Provide architectural direction to Enterprise Architects, Business Architects and Solution Architects.

- Develop architectural metrics and reports for the executive team, business, and IT management.

- Deliver requisite program documentation including program charters, schedules, requirements documents, specifications, design documents and testing strategies.

- Provide architectural consulting to programs, projects, and initiatives.

- Coordinate release and sprint planning.

- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.

- Monitor individual employees' performance.

Projects :

- Oversee large-scale and intricate IT programs and projects.

- Build relationships with executive project sponsors and senior technology leadership.

- Direct and manage projects from conceptualization to implementation.

- Provide consulting to projects to estimate work packages and identify architectural approaches.

- Provide consulting to projects to identify project, architecture and security risks.

- Deliver projects on-time and on-budget.

- Ensure that all deliverables are high quality and meet business functional and non functional requirements.

- Ensure that all deliverables follow IT standards and best practices.

Authority :

- Authorize the Software Project Manager to make decisions concerning project scope, resource allocation, and prioritization within set project parameters. This includes the authority to adjust project timelines and resources as needed to ensure successful project delivery.

- Grant authority to lead and manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing direction, and evaluating team performance. This includes the ability to make hiring decisions, if necessary, for project-specific roles.

- Authorized to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. This includes the authority to implement risk mitigation strategies and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.

What skills and experience you'll bring to us :

Qualifications we are looking for :

- Bachelor's or Master in any engineering discipline.

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in leadership / managing software development projects for the manufacturing Industry.

- Automotive & Tyre Industry experience will be an added advantage

- Must have at least 10 to 15 years working through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering software products to market.

- Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, team mentoring, project management, customer governance, time management, and problem-solving.

- Must have good oral and written communication skills in English.

- Self-motivated, Team player, Action-and-Results oriented.

- Well organized, good communication and reporting skills.

- Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines.

- Age up to 40 years

Knowledge & Skills, we are expecting :

- Microsoft Technologies : .Net (C#, VB) , SQL Server , SSRS, SSIS , ASP / Web development

- Ignition skill will be a added advantage

- Knowledge in relational databases ( MS SQL, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle)

- Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices is a good to have.

- Experience with managing the development of SaaS and cloud-based applications.

- Webservice - SOAP/REST, HTML, J/VB Scripts, XML

- Experience in using project management tool (Zoho)

- Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues
