About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Oracle technologies, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices, and familiarity with JavaScript to lead projects in the Oracle domain. This role requires strategic leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage large-scale Oracle implementations and integrations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Domain Leadership

• Drive and manage end-to-end Oracle domain projects, including ERP, database solutions, and cloud migrations.
• Provide strategic direction for Oracle-based solutions and align projects with organizational objectives.

Project Management

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery within budget and schedule.
• Ensure successful Oracle system deployments while managing risks and quality standards.

Technical Knowledge

• Comfortable with Oracle Applications and Technology (ie Oracle Database, Fusion Applications, OIC, OAC) for effective prioritisation and execution of activities
• Coordinate the integration of Apex-based applications with Oracle systems to enhance user interfaces.

Agile/SAFe Methodology

• Drive Agile adoption in Oracle projects - ideally using SAFe principles.
• Facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, ART (Agile Release Train) execution, and iterative delivery cycles.

Team and Stakeholder Management

• Lead a diverse team of Oracle specialists, developers, and support staff.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand Oracle domain requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate project activities, processes, and workflows.
• Stay updated on technology advancements and best practices for project management from Oracle and beyond.

Required Skills

• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multi-shore Oracle project teams using Agile or SAFe frameworks.
• Oracle Domain Expertise: Strong experience in Oracle Applications, OCI and related technologies.
• Technical Skills: Exposure to Selenium (or similar) tool for automation of testing and other processes
• Leadership Skills: Excellent team management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Tools Processes: Proficiency with Oracle tools, Agile project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAFe Certification (preferred).
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification (a plus).
• Proven track record of delivering Oracle-based solutions within deadlines and budgets.
