Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Python Algo Trading Developer with expertise in backtrader or vectorBT. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing quantitative trading strategies in Python and a deep understanding of stock trading APIs. Experience with the US market, particularly in options trading, is highly preferred. The role requires a strong knowledge of technical indicators, intraday trading, and order and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies using Python.
- Utilize backtrader or vectorBT for backtesting and strategy development.
- Integrate and manage stock trading APIs.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to optimize trading strategies.
- Monitor and adjust strategies based on market conditions and performance.
- Implement technical indicators and intraday trading techniques.
- Manage orders and risk to ensure optimal trading performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance trading algorithms and systems.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Extensive experience with backtrader or vectorBT.
- Proven experience in developing quantitative trading strategies.
- Strong knowledge of stock trading APIs.
- Familiarity with the US stock market, especially options trading.
- In-depth understanding of technical indicators and intraday trading.
- Expertise in order and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have:
