Job Description

Job Summary: You will work in our fast-growing Quantitative Finance practice focused on designing, testing, developing, and running quantitative algorithmic trading strategies, models, and analytics. Machine Learning and AI are a key cornerstone of our design philosophy, and you must be familiar with these concepts. This is a mid to senior level role and you will be expected to work independently and show initiative. You will receive continuous mentorship from our founders who have multi-decade experience in financial markets and Software Systems. You will be responsible for researching and making architectural choices.

You will also be responsible for managing the teams of junior engineers, allocating work, monitoring progress, reviewing their code, and helping them unblock. The ideal candidate will be a high-achieving graduate or postgraduate with 10 years+ of software development who is well conversant with the latest software engineering practices, and a hands-on coder in backend systems using C++, Java and\/or Python. The candidate must be strong in areas such as multi-system integrations, CI\/CD pipelines and production deployments. Working exposure to GenAI , AI, ML or Data Science is required for this role. Prior experience in financial modeling or knowledge of financial markets is strongly preferred. The person should be willing to work with ambiguity but still be able to apply rigorous and systematic software engineering approaches to problem-solving. To reiterate, while the person will spend significant time managing the team, hands- on coding is required in this role to do the initial design of the solutions, and code initial prototypes. The Candidate should be able to effortlessly multi- task, and be a good mentor with strong people skills. Good written and oral communication skills and being able to present with clarity and conciseness are needed for this role.
