Wildcraft - Category Manager - Luggage Segment (4-10 yrs)

Job Role:

A Category Manager is responsible for analyzing industry and consumer trends, developing long-term strategies for product categories, and managing relationships with vendors. They maximize consumer appeal through pricing, promotion, and product range management. Effective communication and a strong understanding of marketing and sales principles are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Increased Sales:

- Responsible for Revenue, Gross profit and Inventory of the category

- Recommend Pricing and deliver.

Category Management:

- Provide product briefs by incorporating consumer insights, trends, competitive landscape, past performance, and customer feedback

- Recommend Product portfolio and Assortment to meet overall. brand and financial objectives

- Responsible for Demand Forecasting, Planning and GTM for new product launches

- Product Lifecycle Management

- Collaborate with Brand, Product, Design, SCM teams to deliver category performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM from Tier 1/2 B school/ NIFT

Work Experience:

- 4-8 years Sales Experience (at least 3 years in in Product /Category management in Consumer Goods/Luggage /Accessories Brand

Preferred Experience - Luggage & accessories, Consumer Products)

Skills - Business Acumen, Analytical ability, and Interpersonal Skills
