About Wholesale Bank Finance Team

The Wholesale finance team would act as an intermediary between the Wholesale Bank business team and the Core Finance & Accounts team. The core responsibility of this team is to understand the wholesale business and their requirements and assist them in strategic planning. The team is expected have a continuous interaction with senior management in the business teams as well as Finance & Accounts team and design solutions that are acceptable to both sides.

Role and Key responsibilities

The role would be responsible for:

• Database management and writing SQL codes to extract data
• Assisting in BRD for automation projects
• Running reconciliation between numbers reported by various internal teams
• Assisting business finance team in query resolutions with strict Turn Around Times
• Computing RAROC / FTP / Interest Income at account level
• Understanding cost allocation methodology and assisting in resolving business queries

Qualifications

Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

• CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institute
• Technical experience working with advanced excel, SQL, Oracle, Tableau etc. would be welcome
• Functional experience of BFSI industry and should be familiar with finance terminology and calculations
